Holiday Apartment “Akamatra”
This spacious two-level holiday apartment is part of a traditional Ikarian stone house, built into the natural rock of the Fytema valley.
With 35 m², it is our largest apartment. From the bedroom, you can enjoy beautiful views of the garden and the valley leading towards the mountain village of Akamatra.
On the upper floor, the two sleeping areas can be separated by a curtain, offering both openness and privacy.
Fytema Beach is only 200 metres away. In front of and next to the apartment, there are two lovely terraces with sea views, offering both sun and shade, and furnished with comfortable outdoor seating for relaxing moments.
The terrace beside the house is for the private use of this apartment, while the large 120 m² terrace in front of the house may be shared with the two other apartments.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped, including different coffee makers, a toaster, a kettle, and more. Many of the antique furnishings reflect the character of the house, which was built around 100 years ago.
The bathroom is fitted with high-quality fixtures and furnishings.

The accommodation
Our guests have access to a spacious private outdoor area surrounding the house.
Right next to the house, there is a private seating area with sea views, as well as an additional outdoor shower.
Fytema Beach can be reached in just a two-minute walk via our private access path.
Garden furniture and beach equipment are provided, including extra towels for the beach.
Guest access
Parking is available on our property behind the house.
Other things to note
The pergola creates a lovely shaded spot in front of the house, while another terrace is shaded by a large bougainvillea and a fig tree. The natural stone walls of the house, up to one metre thick, keep the interior pleasantly cool in summer, thanks to the rock behind the house. This allows us to do without air conditioning.
We live on the property and are happy to assist our guests with tips and recommendations.

Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is before 10:00.
